I am disputing a thirty day ban. Why was this punishment given? This punishment was given for changing my name to "LeoEatsAss" and also stating "HorseCum in your arse", in which a player's name was literally HorseCum Who administered this punishment? coolthom Do you feel as if you don't deserve this punishment? I believe the ban length is completely unwarranted. If you feel as if you didn't deserve it, do you have proof showing why? I don't necessarily have proof, but I have witnesses of what happened. These include, but are not limited to: LuciferLordOfSin, 1stGlitch, OoniTurtle, and HorseCum. Why should we lift your punishment? I'm not saying it should be lifted; however, it should certainly be reduced. Usually, when someone has an inappropriate name, they are nicked to something else without the insult, curse word, etc. I understand that this is staff disrespect, but it was clearly a joke. I also apologized to the staff member I disrespected, and I think I cleared the water there. In my opinion the length of the punishment is unjust. I believe the ban should be reduced to 5 days and 14 hours. I also believe it would not be right to have the same staff member that banned me deny my appeal. Let's give an example as to why my ban length should be reduced. Let's go back and look at this photo. This photo shows a player making comments such as "ill lick ur balls but no homo." The context is obviously around this. Is this inappropriate? A bit I suppose, but we all know that the server has changed quite a bit within the past two years. These kinds of comments are accepted, and thought of as funny. I am throwing @Shauniee under the bus. In reply to that comment and the report, @Kakalavala said "nobody had a problem with it except for you, so clearly it wasn't an issue. This report was meaningless, well done." I would personally like to ask @Leodezz if he genuinely had an issue with my ironic name. Should Shaunie be punished for saying that? No. Just kind of a point to defend myself. Anything else you would like us to know? I would like to know the reason for the extreme length of ban. I get you can't change your name for 30 days; however, this name is not as bad at others in the past. Is it disrespectful? Indeed. I will change my name as soon as I can, but until then I think the ban time should be reduced. A ban at this length for this type of rule breaking has not happened. Additional Info: I will also ensure that my /nick will remain as Borked/Spencer. The ban should make my stance on the issue quite clear. The name wasn't the only issue. You went on afterwords with insults and even a threat. Yes you may have made an attempt at "Clearing the water" as you say, But that doesn't change the insulting nature of the name. The initial mute was the result of me warning your group of pals countless times to stop using "HorseCum" unnecessary ways, and excessively saying their name, You just happened to be the one to be the last person I warned. It doesn't take an IQ of 168 to realize how inappropriate these jokes were. Your group of friends didn't exactly help your situation by joining in on the insult fest. This may have all been a joke to you, But so is this appeal.
