Hello to all, my name is AJKplazBoss. I am new to this server, and have been looking for an original sky block server for a very long time. Shout out to staff for coming up the idea I absolutely love that at least a few people in the world have the idea that some people would want to play Original skyblock. However in the first three days of my experience I have discovered that my islands type ocean is unchangeable and I do not know how to gain access to the other types but because I do not have a new island type I cannot grow any grass and passive mops cannot spot. Me and my friend are trying to complete the original sky blocked 2.1 achievements and I cannot do that without passive mobs. Will someone please inform me on how to do this. Hey, welcome to OSB, as said above you gain access to different island types by donating for a rank. The ocean biome is for everyone, so passive mobs don't spawn naturally but you are able to win starter spawn eggs from the crates (get keys by voting or donation) You are also able to ask a donor to buy spawn eggs for you from the donor zone and trade for the spawn eggs with money / items. Also grass should be able to spread if you put a grass block beside dirt blocks; you are able to pick the grass block up with silktouch.
That is complete BS. If you don't have real money or just want a vanilla skyblock experience how are u gonna complete all these challenges with chicken eggs ?!?!? You guys call it "Original" what's original about no passive mob spawns on ur island if ur not a donor and chicken eggs can only do so much. *facepalm* RIP OSB
You can complete all of our predefined challenges (/challenges) without donating a dime. We do call it Original, and in the original single player skyblock map there was definitely no way to change your biome, that's just something extra that we have, and like most of the extra features (pets, trails, etc.) you must be a donater to use it. I don't really understand why you say "RIP OSB" given it's been like this for over 2 years now. ~Glitch P.S. You're an overlord, why does this even concern you?
