    As you might all know, next OSB is slowly but surely coming on our next February.

    As such we are starting to list and dig ideas up for our next generation of Original Skyblock and we want to give the opportunity to all of you to speak and propose your ideas.

    No matter how small to how impossible it may seem or if it's about the website, mini games, events, economy, game mechanics, etc. We encourage you to propose your ideas as they can give us insights into what you would like to see and help us improve our future server!

    Well, a couple of changes I can come up with atm:
    * Allow other players to trade with your villagers
    * Don't allow other players to set warps in your island (unless trusted or staff)

    Because there are simple changes (I mean like, they're literally changing 1 setting in 2 configs.) I went ahead and already put them on the server. Enjoy!

    There's really only one thing I can think of right now, but it's a really minor thing. I'd like a place in the shop to sell saddles and name tags, as I accumulate a lot when fishing and never end up using them.

    * Bring back the 10 minute reminder to buy lottery tickets (if possible, I always forget bc I want to finish what I'm doing)

    I was going to suggest that the lottery be less frequent as well, give it time for the jackpot to really grow so it's more special. As of now it runs every hour and more then half the time it says "No tickets sold this round. Thats a shame."

    I have some suggestions, but I'd like to comment a couple things from above first.

    I like Sel's suggestion of not allowing other players to set warps (unless trusted or staff) but I'm wondering if player's who are members of an island but not the island owner are allowed to set warps?

    Mariorox-- if your suggestion doesn't get added with the reset, I wanted to suggest to you, that you can create a player shop to sell those items, or if you have rank, you can use /ah (auction house) or just use /auc (auction) when other players are around.

    I also like the idea of the lottery draw being less frequent so jackpot has time to build (maybe only twice a day aka every 12 hrs) as well as reminder in chat when the drawing will be happening soon.

    OK now onto my suggestions.

    1. Spawn should be smaller-- I love the beauty and detail of the current spawn, but it seems like there is a lot of unused space and for someone like me (older equipment and lag issues) it takes time to travel around (even flying) so I end up warping to the location needed (like crates) and warping right back out. I think that all the necessary areas needed could easily fit into half the space and still make it possible and functional for everyone to move about easily. I don't think any regular players use the parkour but if it needs to be an option, maybe it could have a separate warp.

    2. Voting stats/commands needs to be fixed or removed-- There is nowhere in the forum that has announced a monthly voter winner. Plus using the command in game only shows the all time amount of votes per player but not the current month votes. The chat announcement message says that the monthly winner will be awarded $30 voucher for rank purchase/upgrade etc. I have been top voter 3 times since February and haven't been rewarded for any of them. I don't personally care about the reward tbh, but in keeping things fair within the server, I should have at least had the option to receive my reward or donate it to a player of my choice.

    3. Floating figures at spawn-- Remove them. I haven't seen any of them change since they went up and as mentioned above with voting, the "top voter" figure has been the same this whole time and yet the rule is that a player cannot win two months in a row. They cause lag as well. I'd like to see them gone.

    4. Fishing Contest-- We all know the automatic start time gets hinky/wonky and gets delayed at times. Is it possible to add a feature at spawn near the fish merchant where a player can go and push a button or something that will start the fishing manually? There would have to be some specifics like a 5 minute window within the normal starting time and 3 players online etc.

    5. Monthly mini events and contests-- I love that staff takes time to keep things interesting and has events/contests to get players involved in the community. I would like to see every other month be a theme build or search type contest and the holiday themed events (like the /warp Halloween) on the other months. I do think that some of the rewards are excessive and could be toned down, but overall I love them. *Just eliminate parkour or give an alternative

    6. Add a /sell all feature-- I know warping to shop to sell inventory of cactus/sugar/wheat etc can be a pain especially when you have to repeat several times over (like for a profit farm). I'm not asking to make things super easy for players to make millions without putting in hard work. But what about a compromise?

    I was thinking something like a /sell inv BUT it can only be used limited number times per day (like 5 times)

    OR how about only certain rank and higher can use the command /sell inv BUT it costs $100 per use.

    I also think it should only be allowed if every slot (all 36) have the same item in them, so it wouldn't be allowed for 1/2 inventory of items.

    7. KEEP ALL LOOT CRATES-- There were several tweaks with the crates prizes already this year. I think they are finally in perfect distribution categories. Please consider leaving these as they are currently.

    That's all I have for now-- I know it's a lot, and I don't expect staff to implement all of the ideas, but I figured why not mention them and see what happens? Plus, I would like other players to input their thoughts on these suggestions as well. Thanks to staff for all the hard work and time you spend making the player's gaming time more enjoyable.

    Lots of content here so i'll try and state my humble opinion on everything.
    I'm pretty sure it's always been set so that you can only set a warp if you are trusted on the island, this allows donors to still set warps for those who don't have access, they just have to be trusted on the island first.

    Glad you like my idea, i'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking it, hopefully this can be implemented :)

    Okay, diving right in here! I've actually heard a few people say this. The amount of detail and effort that went into our current spawn is insane, from every tree to armour stand it really is quite magnificent. Having said that I would tend to agree that it is rather large, as someone with a boat anchor of a PC myself I can definitely feel your pain here. I always figured the size wasn't as big of a deal to the people who could fly, as a proud member of the minority of people who can't fly, I've just learned to become completely dependent on the warp system. I generally don't like to "critique" the spawns because we all know I couldn't do any better, plus I'm well aware of the amount of work that went into building this one (just last week Gan was still improving things) but i'm sure some sort of compromise can be reached - 4 months is a long time.

    Also what's that about parkour? I thought it already was separate warp?

    The top players really are a cluster&%$# aren't they? A large part of that is on me if i'm honest (since I generally handle the website stuff) luckily Thom and I were already discussing this and we have a plan to make the top players stats on the website 10x better (well it will work at least). I'll explain what is up with the monthly voters, basically there are 2 choices when someone votes, tally the votes when the server receives them or tally the votes when the user logs in, because the server gives prizes when you vote, the user has to be online to receive them and as a such the votes have to be tallied when the user logs in, well this is a problem because if someone votes right before a month ends but doesn't actually log in until the next month, they automatically have a lead going into the month. This doesn't seem like a huge deal but believe me it was happening every single month so since the monthly vote count wasn't accurate anyways I just stopped resetting the count every month. I do have a plan to fix this though, it takes me forever to do anything so obviously don't expect anything until February.
    I combined points #2 and #3 into this same answer because in my mind they're pretty much the same, I don't think the NPCs cause much lag but they should probably be updated, I can tell you from personal experience though that remembering to update those NPCs every month is a huge pain.

    I don't think this is really possible simply because if it were able to detect that it was in a 5 minute window then it should have started by it's self. Part of the reason for it being so spontaneous was because of the server lag, but lately that has been a lot better. The other thing is the server clock being off, I happen to know it was just reset to the correct time (I don't know why it randomly decides to become slow). Hopefully with these things combined it won't be so "hinky" ;).

    Yeah that'd be cool, building those events takes quite a bit of time so i'm not sure of the logistics of it, but it would be neat to have that sort of thing more often.

    Never been a fan of this, I've always thought that people should have to go to the shop, but I actually don't mind your idea of having an option to not go to the shop but taxing it more (like if you use the command it takes off 10%). The concept of being able to bulk sell has been passed around a bit lately, would being able to shift right click the sign to sell your entire inventory at once be a good enough compromise?

    I think this is my first time seeing someone ask for the crates to not be changed. Personally I always hated messing with the crates so i'm sure they'll appreciate this one.

    I am aware of this, however I feel as though most players don't really need them, either. I mean, how useful is it to ride horses or pigs in Skyblock? That's why I'd like to see them added to the shop, even if they don't wind up selling for much.

    Also, to your point about the lottery thing, I'd like the idea if it was like every 3-4 hours, long enough to build up the pot, but frequent enough to keep players interested. Maybe make the alerts half-hourly, too.

    EDIT #1: Also, also, maybe have a five-minute warning for the fishing comps, so people can get prepared. Just a thought.

    I don't really like responding to big threads because honestly, it means a bulk list of replies, holy hell though is this one of those threads that have to be addressed, OSBs reset brings a load of new changes and plugins so I guess this thread would be an ideal moment to throw in some suggestions.

    1) Chests filled with all kinds of misc garbage? https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/magicchest a way to sort them out, because I'm lazy. Ok if the plugin will be ignored but eh it looks fun and painful to use, install and update, I just like to make people say why somethings stupid or to add on to the idea, whole point of threads.

    2) A double exp plugin for events or every few hours so grinders get a little extra https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/doublexp.22964/

    3) Give players more to do with an expansion on cooking? cause it looks cool....whether its supported or updated further is a good question but I think a bigger take on normal stuff could give people things to do..

    4) Anything like the above that adds to basic vanilla things such as mining, why just rock add treasures like some random guy said, add recipes to cooking, add more benefits to potion making, give stuff like permissions from the island challenges to the skills associated, such as the farming achievements on the island challenges that involve farming, give people a reason to do them.

    5) Give people more reasons to spend money, let us gamble that away further with more gambling opportunities, crates that spend more for good stuff, not sure what will have to build further on, I'm so poor Ethiopians /pay me but for the richer people, maybe they just need more reasons to spend, anything at all, please somebody expand upon this further.

    6) Better signs in shop for bulk items, such as a full inventory of cactus or melon, cause I've played this server a while now it doesn't add to the fun making trips, it might be a noteworthy idea I don't know comment your feedback.

    7) Bring Shaunie back, kidnap him if you have to, just tape him to his post in the cellar next to Whatshisname and Sammie, keep those old staff in the limelight, give them a little badge and a coffee coupon for Starbucks to say "He was here" on the forums or server. I know we have statues to warn people "you're next" but I think any future renditions of OSBs spawn will definitely need a room dedicated to people or history, seems like a cute little community nod to people.

    8) Next spawn, I've seen a lot of spawns come and go, some beautiful, some not so great, this though has been by far the most impressive, I'm not sure if Gan gets told this personally but he should be very proud of what he's created and really needs to be acknowledged for what he's made, If you do end up reading my answer on the forums please just know its fantastic, OSB is getting known for its changing spawn, and with each reset brings something special everytime, memorable even, I'd like to hope that we keep seeing new things, and for the next spawn, I hope we get a really amazing sky island with a convenient shop with commonly sold spaced closer to the warp, and all of 1.13's valuable things put in a recently added section.

    I'd also love to see a permanant spot in spawn for the event crates, so people immediately know "Oh the prize crates are probably at /warp Crates?" maybe games or game plugins could offer prizes for crates too, perhaps a toned down crate that offers lower, less farmy prizes. One offs sort of.

    Downsize next spawn, We don't have a population for a big spawn really, but it certainly is a status symbol, I think a more modest spawn next reset would be useful, I like this spawn, I liked a few spawns, but I don't like big spawns because they're a navigational nightmare for new people or those without /fly, we have /warp yes, we have /fly most of us do anyway, So why bother? Because its easier, its simple, it makes sense, small is beautiful, it keeps people together and not apart, Spawn is the heart of OSB and makes the server connect when we're all on separate islands so maybe bringing it closer is something to be treasured and desired when we're all on our islands being anti-social or giving Kaka hell from chat, wouldn't it be nice to go back to a spawn with all of the pop there cosy, so Kaka can slap us all faster, There's nothing wrong with liking a smaller one, there's nothing wrong liking a big one, but in my humble opinion I like to see change, I like smaller spawns, I like what Gan builds, and I want to see what he does with next spawn, I look forward to seeing his builds and ideas, infact i'd like to see a lot of different talent in the future builds, I have hope for the future spawns and what we get to see.

    Upvote for next sexy spawn, please give me feedback! Give everybody on this thread feedback, I'd like to see this post annually gets reviewed by people, the community voice is important for a server to stay strong and if we communicate regularly with staff we get what we want because we're cute, in all seriousness your voice does matter, we do make up OSB 5.0 so please have a hand in helping its development.

    I do think this is a great (re-)addition.

    I'm sure we can make this happen too. (maybe even before February, who knows)

    I personally do agree with this but there are some mixed opinions at this moment. I'll make sure this topic gets discussed again.

    Just like Glitch said, we're already onto something to change this and will do our best to improve the experience.

    As mentioned above me, this idea has been tossed around a bit and might make an entrance soon enough. No promises

    I really do like this idea, I'll throw it in the idea jar!

    People indeed often ask where the event crates are because they always had their own specific warp, this'd be a much more effective way to handle this.

    This post was too much to read again for mistakes so, enjoy.

    This post was just my personal opinion, not from the whole staff team. These topics will be discussed in the team since I can't decide on my own ;)

    1. You are probably right that parkour has its own warp already. I meant moving it's physical location away from spawn so the important things needed at spawn could be closely accessed.
    2. I understand what you said about voting totals being off at end of month/beginning new month overlap and depending on whether voter logged in game on what day/time. So are you saying that nobody has received any reward for voting in the last however many months (since reset in February)? Also, since the NPC's are a pain, will they be removed?

    1. You are totally right that players do not need that many saddles just sitting in their inventory. I'm glad staff was able to add the sell feature for you.
    2. After reading your comment on lottery, I agree that drawing a winner every 4 hours and having 30 minute reminders makes more sense. I would like to add to the suggestion that players might have the opportunity to buy up to 10 tickets per hour thus really making it possible for the pot to grow and to keep players interested or online longer.
    3. You mentioned having a 5 minute alert before fishing contests start so players can be prepared. I love this idea. Thanks for bringing it up.

    1. Magic Chest - I think there are players who would appreciate and use this feature. I wouldn't use it because I have my own system (stuck in my ways). But I still like the idea for others to have that option.
    2. Double XP sounds interesting, but I think staff would have to remove XP from crates if this was used or added. I currently have over 300 XP just from what I get in crates mostly.
    3. You mentioned giving players a reason to spend their money. I love that you even thought about this subject. I also love the idea of adding another crate that uses keys that are obtained by purchasing them and the prizes would be better (or worth more). I'm going to think about other incentives for players to spend money, and will probably post again on this idea. Thanks for mentioning.
    4. 100% agree that GanMarco deserves a ton of credit and thanks for building such a beautiful place for us to warp and sell fish, or use keys, or shop, or just run around and explore. It may be a bit overwhelming or intimidating to newcomers and as you said, a navigational nightmare if you aren't already familiar with the place. I completely loved the special "hunt and find" event that was held in our current spawn and I was able to seek out places I didn't know existed. I would love to see something like this spawn used in a holiday search or event in the future. Make the next spawn more like a cozy family welcome with simple navigation.
    5. Relocate event crates near the existing crates that need keys from daily bonus, voting, rare, and gold keys. I love this idea.

    I’m glad you agree with my ideas, and I love a lot of your suggestions, too! I think it would be interesting if we could buy more tickets for the lottery as well. Maybe up the cap from 10 to maybe 25 or 30. And maybe the more players that are in the drawing, the reward grows exponentially. So if 2 people are playing, the reward is increased by 10%. If 3 are playing, its increased by 15%, etc. Might give more incentive to buying tickets.

    Uh, hi. I'm Kylie, or seen to others as a loud child who runs around the server. Before the staff look over my "suggestions" and, think it's a joke. I just want to say: I've been a member of OSB for five years now. How I've managed to stay somewhat active for all these years, is shocking. However, I'm not here to give you my life story. I'm here to contribute my ideas and- well, mostly complaints/thoughts about OSB before for its upcoming 2nd annual server-wide reset.

    The Spawn:
    Starting off, our spawn is obnoxiously huge. It's gorgeous, there's no doubt about that. It has so much detail, and you can really tell GanMarco__ and his team put a lot of effort into this build. But, it's fairly obvious it doesn't fit our server at all. With a spawn, that big, many would assume we have a lot of players- but they quickly drop that belief when they see our daily player average is about 6-10 players. Not only that, it's just a boring spawn. It has nothing interesting or time-consuming to do on it (in a fun way). The only qualities it has, other than its beauty, is some staff and builder cameos. It's quite bland for the most part. Plus, the server functions it has, are very hard and tedious to get to. I understand that it has many warps, and donors with /fly are able to fly around it. But, let's be honest. As a player, I don't want to deal with that you know? I want it to be all accessible within a reasonable distance. Not to mention, for donors without /fly, what are they supposed to do? Also, yes as I just stated, I know we have warps, but there's no point in warps. In my eyes, these are just excuses and things staff create to keep the spawn. However, as shown above in most suggestions, it's just not a flexible thing to keep on the server. (Side note: I think it's extremely rude to call the players who play on the server you staff, "Lazy". They play on this server because they like the small community, and with that toxicity are you kidding? When you refer to the players as "The most important part of OSB", you should listen to them.)

    The Staff/Staff Abuse:
    This is not a part where I complain about staff, which I could do for hours on end, however, it might be. I just want to say that, our staff, in my personal experience, are very hard to work with. None of them take me, or others seriously (sometimes it's for the best) and they all just see me as a nuisance. They're rude, inactive, lazy, depressed, and just don't take their position seriously. I'm not saying all of them have those quirks, but in my eyes, they can be like that. Now onto the "staff abuse". In my opinion, our staff are gradually becoming more and more "trigger happy". I've seen many people wrongfully muted for a longer duration than needed, and not only that, I've seen our higher-ups ban people just for their amusement. I personally think that's unprofessional and kind of rude. I know it's just for jokes because they're friends, but I don't know. I feel like it gives off the wrong impression to the other players.

    The Plugins/Attractions:
    Our mini-games and such used to be so fun and entertaining. But, they've just lost their "magic touch". They're boring, underwhelming, and just a waste of space in my opinion. Now, this isn't a jab at our devs "1stGlitch" and "Kakalavala", however, they're just not as fun as they used to be- Especially Mob Arena. When it first came out, it was somewhat popular. It was fun to play with my friends, but it quickly grew boring and unplayed. Now, moving on to parkour, it's just uninteresting now. I know some people play it, however, there's just nothing to it. I remember people would play it for the prize, and try to compete to get the #1 rank. But now it's just ancient and to most, forgotten. Next is the mazes. Honestly, I forgot we even had these. I feel like people only did the mazes for the prizes. But, it just got old, and well it's just not as interesting. My last topic would be the PVP arena. It's just not something people care for anymore. I know in previous resets it had been a huge success, but in my opinion, the spawn covers it, and makes players turn away from it, and mostly, that's how I feel most of our mini-games/attractions fell flat.

    The Cooldowns:
    Now, I know this is a silly thing to complain about. However, the cooldowns are quite ridiculous in my opinion. For example, the /tpa cooldown. Waiting 8 seconds for mistyping a name/keyword? It's very annoying in my opinion. Also, the "AntiSpam" chatbot. Good lord is it annoying. I can't try to guess a trivia question or try to respond to someone without getting warned or kicked. It's just something I don't think is needed. Of course, the chat cooldown is needed, however the fact it's that quick to warn, it's just unrealistically obnoxious.

    The Shop:
    It's something that needs a lot of work on. The prices, they're okay. But some items, in my opinion, are ridiculously inflated. I know it's to control the economy, but seriously? Also, as Sieanx stated above, we really need a bulk selling option. It's very tedious to be going back and forth to just sell things for little payoff. Also, the way the items are organized is very chaotic. There's not that much of a clear distinction as to where everything is.

    OSB in General:
    Honestly, OSB is a boring server. The only thing it has going for it is: the players. The people who play on the server and chat are the real reason most players come on to play OSB. Skyblock is OSB's main marketed appeal, but in actuality, the chat is the most appealing thing on OSB. Yes, skyblock is fun to some. Yes, OSB has events that appeal to people and try to encourage player activity. But, in the end, it's the players interacting that really sell OSB. Of course, the fishing comp is our most well-attended event, so are our holiday event maps. But what I'm trying to get across here is that, the interaction OSB has is something like no other. The small, cozy community, having a laugh? That outsells almost everything OSB has to offer.

    Conclusion:
    I know that most of the staff members will make fun of me for posting this, if not, even more than they already do, especially one staff member in particular. However, I just want to say that: I'm trying to use this outlet as a way to give my thoughts and complaints, so the staff are (more) aware of my serious and honest thoughts of the current OSB. I know I'm not someone that's taken very seriously to most players on OSB, and I can be very annoying, (b-word)y, childish, etc. But I wanted to take this time to be serious, and really just voice what I have to say, in hopes someone will see my words as a chance of changing?

    Thank you for your serious reply kylie, I'll be completely honest I didnt expect you to come forth and express yourself like that especially over the forum but I'm grateful you did. Off course it comes to no surprises I came to answer this post of yours as well since I kinda feel like I have to answer these points ;p

    The Spawn:
    This is no secret now to know staff is debating on that matter, while I personally dont like to stand to one side or another on that matter I see the points on both sides, yes the spawn is big (or at least too much for our own community) I personally never saw that as a real obstacle but I can understand ppl feel lost between the mansion and gardens, on the other hand I feel like the spawn is getting more spits than credits, from a builder's perspective it is a jewel and it is hard to come by such beautiful spawns amongst other servers.

    The Staff/Staff Abuse:
    alright onto a tedious subject already, for my first part before answering any of it, I have a to be blunt, from my perspective you weren't acting serious at many point since you and I met. You seemed to not care and you've been spotted multiple times doing questionable things to players or talking questionable subjects on the chat as if you wanted to test our reaction, I am not saying you are a bad person but this kind of experience could make it hard for you to properly work with us (because you were hard to work with in the first place from my perspective).

    now for the rest, it should come to no surprises we are no gods nor perfect, we are humans in the end and we are filled with flaws like anyone else, altho I agree pointing out a person's flaw might help them seeing it I cannot promise to become a perfect being.

    about staff abuse I can vouch for the fact we are slightly "trigger happy" at times, we dont have the same patience and some newer staff are still adjusting altho most of the sentences I've seen seemed justified I did suggest or did some rectifications behind. keeping order over a group of people isnt exactly as easy as it sounds and sometimes the easiest solution is to show what happens next before things gets out of hands. I honestly also agree using punishments for amusement should be badly looked upon as I agree with the fact seeing this kind of things as a new or even a less casual player might be confusing.

    I should also say we always encouraged people to tell other staff members how they feel about any of these kinds of examples, either in private (over forum or discord (or even on the server)) or in a public post if you so desire. You have the right feel the way you do and I encourage people to share that in a civilized way.

    The Plugins/Attractions:
    it is a now known fact amongst the staff and we are working on it. we are digging up ideas as I mentioned ;p

    The Cooldowns:
    I have never come across this issue in the past even as a member, I guess we'll have to test and see.

    The shop:
    it is a good idea to add some sort of order in the shop to place items in a more instinctive way to find them, I did suggest it in the past as well.
    I can also see how people finds selling invs of item tedious and seeing how often this comes up as a suggestion, I guess we do have to talk about it.

    OSB in General:
    I have to partially agree to this. Personally I dont directly blame OSB, classic skyblock is a thing players played a lot and mastered a while ago, hence why I feel as if the challenge of it is no longer a "real" challenge, skyblocks nowadays feels more like a game mode rather than a challenge and I agree we have to come out in a unique way to break this circle for us. skyblock is easy and unless you do self inflicted challenges, the thrill of it is much less dominant than it used to be.

    Conclusion:
    I wouldn't say mock you rather be surprised (at least on my end) I'll be honest, I legit expected you to say "have less kaka and more players" or joke about how deader than dead we are as you often mentioned (not with these words but you get the idea) and like I said in the beginning of my reply, I thank you for answering with an honest and serious opinion

    Alright I'm bored and here's some of my input
    #1 NERF IRON GOLEMS
    There needs to be a cap on how many levels you can get from iron blocks IE 5000 levels. Looking at some of the top islands they tend to have a majority of their levels come from iron blocks. Is top 1 is almost 80% iron, Is top 2 is 81% even my island is over 50% iron. Not only that but this encourages people to afk at iron golem spawners. If you put a cap on ice put a cap on iron blocks.

    Face it when was the last time you voted at every link for a week straight? The rewards are pretty lackluster as well. The reward for top voting is smart however very few people dedicate themselves to voting 30 times to 4 different links.
    #3 Spawn
    It has already been said, but it is simply too large and too confusing a layout. The best spawns I have seen from this server are small and everything was easy to find. Also put the categories of shop ie blocks and farming. Put yourself in the shoes of a new player who doesn't know the warps, would you be able to find something in the shop in under 2 minutes? ( Keep the flying in spawn though that was a good addition.)
    #4 Donor shop
    I don't speak for everybody, but how often do you go to donor for the spawners or the enchanting tables? or did you even know that was a part of donor? Some things could be added to the shop such as gold and rare keys ( granted they would have to have a high price to nerf them, but in 2.0 there were chests around spawn that gave out free keys every 7 days doubt you even knew about that.)
    #5 Challenges
    They're stale tedious and not fun for some of them these could use a rework and add some new ones in or spice up the originals. There's no point in redoing some of the challenges as the rewards the second time around are worth next to nothing. Emerald collector the second time gives $35 35 exp and a set of diamond armor for 70 emeralds.
    #6 The Lottery
    Nobody does it anymore not even myself. I would love to see there be a rework such as every ticket that is bought adds 25 to the pot.
    #7 Trivia
    Change the questions don't add stupid questions like what is the smallest unit of measurement. Change the questions every 1-2 months veterans just memorize the answers and there is no hope to the new players who need money more.
    #8 Staff
    I understand people have lives and cant dedicate every waking moment of their lives to this server, but I feel as if the staff aren't that active. Yes I know there's school and work and personal matters but I have seen maybe 2 staff members on a day. Also if staff could try not to be in vanish just to let the general populous know they are online.
    #9 Updates
    I understand a majority of the players rely on the discord for updates, but the website should get the updates as well. It doesn't take that much effort to copy and paste an update from discord to the website and vise versa.

    I agree with every single thing you just said.

    Quick question, for point #1 do you want to nerf iron golems themselves, like drop and/or spawn rates? Or just nerf the amount of island levels you get from placing an iron block? Or both?

    Comments:
    I wholeheartedly agree about the trivia at point #7, however do keep in mind that there are about 250 trivia questions - I speak from personal experience when I say that coming up with all those questions is a massive pain, doing so every month is going to be tricky... Wondering if maybe a form where players could suggest questions is the solution here.

    About the discord, #9 is an extremely important point, lots of Minecraft servers and communities in general are having a problem with their forums going inactive because everyone is only using discord. We need to encourage players to use these forums or they will die. If anyone has any suggestions of how to do this, please speak up. (I know the staff were trying earlier with monthly forum competitions but they didn't work out).

    1. For the next /shop, how about using npc characters to represent the market traders. With a right click interaction opening their item selling and buying menus.
    Hopefully it would help a little bit on the lag issues in shop.

    It could be designed like an old market with the npc's behind each stall.

    2. Allow non doner players to use the auction function, even if it incurred a percentage commission cost of the selling price for those players. No commission cost for doners.

    3. More unique starter islands for doners. Progressively larger dependant on rank.

    4. Upgradable cobble gen.
