Are you disputing a ban, mute or jail? 30 day ban Why was this punishment given? Ban Evasion on an alternate account. Who administered this punishment? I think it was bellsday. Do you feel as if you don't deserve this punishment? I deserve this punishment. If you feel as if you didn't deserve it, do you have proof showing why? Why should we lift your punishment? In a previous ban appeal post, you said my ban would remain as it was which was 3 days, but then my friend Bossmaster told me it had been increased to 10 days. When I tried to connect on NeztonMC it still said I was waiting out that 3-day ban. I was confused, so I went onto the server using an alt account to ask about what had happened. I wasn't trying to play or avoid my ban like that. I know I should have asked about it on the forum, but I didn't want to wait. I knew that if I signed onto the server, I could get an answer immediately. I know I should have just waited for an answer and that was my fault. Although I know what I did was wrong, I don't think multiplying the ban by either 10x or 3x, depending on which length is actually right is fair. I'm hoping to get a fairer punishment. Anything else you would like us to know? The alt is still not banned on the hub server, you should probably fix that.
Hello again Nezton, I will let someone else comment on some of your more specific questions in regards to the duration of your ban, because I wasn't involved in any of that. Hello Nezton, What you are seeing on your screen is the hub ban, while your ban was indeed increased on the main server, we did not update your ban on the hub server. I will add however that your punishment was discussed and since you seemed very uncooperative by committing even more infractions after the initial ones (such as spam, evading bans/mute/filter both on discord and on minecraft, general disrespect and I could go on but for the sake of keeping it simple-) I chose to increase your penalty. I was, however convinced through our discussion to still let you have a chance to come back in the future. On that note, I do hope you can come back as a model player in the future. good luck! -Rock
Glitch, that is not what I was arguing for in this appeal. I fully admit and understand that using an alternate account to evade a ban is wrong, but I think that increasing the length of this ban so drastically is over punishment. I think some increase to the ban length is very valid, but increasing it so hugely is too much. I am also disputing the extra 7 days that Rock added onto it after you had said that it would remain as a 3-day ban.
Nezton, Staff members were kept on edge during the whole evening and even the day after that because you kept creating discord accounts to spam and bypass your bans. It took 3 members of the staff team to keep both the game and the discord server under control. I do understand how drastic the punishment is but I need you to understand how intense your reaction was as well if we want to come to any form of agreement.
I understand what I did was wrong, but I would like to clarify, I did not engage in any spamming of the Minecraft server after my ban. You can check connections from my ip if you don't believe me. What I did on the discord server was wrong though. However, given a month-long ban, I will probably lose interest and not come back. I understand that you don't care about whether or not I come back because I'm not going to spend money on your server. However, from my perspective, it doesn't feel like a punishment. It feels like a permanent ban. I still think increasing a ban by 3x for ban evasion to ask the mods a question about the ban isn't fair. I think a 5 or 10-day extension on top of the 10-day ban would be fair.
Alright seeing how you seem cooperative and since I understand your friends were also invloved I will agree to lower the punishment to half the time. (currently according to the server you have 26 days left, ill cut it down to 13 days) This goes without saying, you will most likely be supervised and I recommend you tread lightly for the upcoming days. As much as I appreciate the honesty in that statement, I'm going to point out that this isn't really a "for profit" server, so whether or not you plan to spend money on it, is pretty much irrelevant to us. ~Glitch
