Just got a 24h tempban for being afk. You guys need to come up with a better way of dealing with afk. An afk plugin, etc. Tempbanning someone because they had left to make breakfast is pretty extreme. Or maybe it's not in your opinion. Maybe it is completely legit to tempban someone because they had to step away from their computer. I see that you've already driven MCDad away from your server because of this. Are you going to continue to drive away your dedicated players because of this policy? You're not going to have anyone left. Or maybe you're concerned with the economy. If that's the case then fix it. Remove spawners from the game. Put an afk plugin in. Adjust shop prices so that it's not a viable way to generate income. Punishing the players who play hard and make use of the game mechanics to build wealth is imho the worst way of solving a problem. Do you think that my playing on originalsb is beneficial to the server or a detriment? If you don't want me here then just say so and I will find somewhere else to be. I suspect that my thoughts may fall upon deaf ears, but it makes me very sad that you guys would think that this is an acceptable way of running a server.
I agree, MCDad42 was the best person I know, he was very good, he has over 400 spawners and you basically ban him? Thats not the way to be treated on a server for being AFK.. Make an afk command like SkyTrader said, if your gonna let staff afk, let the players do so.. Its unfair that we have to do something and most likely when the staff are afk there sitting in there spawner zone getting rich.. You guys need to add a afk system, remove spawners, and then make it so you really cant earn money this easy. I could make a mushroom farm, get a inventory of Mushrooms, go to /warp Skymall sell them all and get RICH. Same for players.. Well not players because they have a certain amount of Money.. Just fix your rule and everyone will be happy again including MCDad42.. That rule really stinks. No offense but it really does.
