You'll have to update to 1.9 eventually. Anyways, you could update to 1.9 but keep the 1.8 combat system because that's all people really seem complain about. Also, the second hand slot makes building so much easier, and the Elytra would keep deaths much lower. If the server was to update I think the best way to do it would be in a reset so that the economy could be remade and such (which both me and MarbleBlue have many suggestions about). That's just my opinion.
I'm pretty sure people wouldn't want a reset. I'd say wait out the server update until it seems absolutely necessary. The 1.10 update doesn't require servers to change just yet, so why rush an update at all?
Combat system isn't so good in the update so maybe hold off? I agree with others that server reset won't be welcomed either so I say wait as servers aren't being rushed to update just yet.
I would go straight to 1.10, but don't do a reset. They are horrible. P.S. Having played far too much 1.9 and 1.10 I've got used to the combat system and I think that it is really good because you can't spam click to kill someone.
If we do update, we would try our hardest not to do a reset on the server. However, if something does go wrong thats what it might come down to. As it may suck, a reset could also help fix lag. But a reset is not seen the the near future.
Don't have anything against updating. 1.9 PvP just takes a bit of time to get used to, it really isn't that bad.
I think maybe wait until a better version comes out, maybe 1.10, and yeah the lag is a problem atm so i think an update would be good :3
I'm more or less ambivalent towards 1.9, though I do still slightly prefer 1.8. I will say, however, that if the server does reset, I'm not sure I'd have the time or desire to rebuild my island or the casino. There's still a lot that I'd like to accomplish, but I don't want to start again from nothing to make the attempt because of very limited play time. On one final note, if the server does reset, I'd be almost 100% guaranteed to rage heartbreak quit forever if I didn't get to keep the Valentine's Day contest prizes. :cry:
i dont really mind 1.9, espically with the fact of the end and elytra and alot of other cool stuff, but if we reset. im going to be really sad losing my huge pixel art, /warp staffs, and all of the statues i built of ther people, but hey i barely play so meh, and besides ill probably rebuild it within a week with creative lol.
I know i'm a bit late to the party, but I am 100% for this. 1.9 has new blocks that I would love getting to use in skyblock. The combat system only seems bad before you get used to it. I personally love it, especially swipe. You can kill so many mobs at once. I also think that a reset would be great. If we do have a reset, I think spawners should be a lot harder to obtain, I mean having over 100 spawners is just lagging the server.
If there Will be a reset, Rip to all the peoples that bought spawners Or Vote keys on the donation site :c
Of course there will be a reset at one point but there is no planned reset currently. This is a bump is the topic guys, no need to reply
Update and reset, it'd be so nice. Also could we make it that you have to buy spawners from the shop and you dont get to change them?
