For those of you who want to find a slime chunk but aren't really sure how to, here is everything you need to know about them. Slimes will only spawn in slime chunks and swamp biomes (depending on the phase of the moon). To find your slime chunk go below y40 which can be accessed by hitting F3. /fly would make this easier but water will be the best choice if you don't have this command. When you are at y40 or below build a flat platform until you see slimes spawning (make sure your island isn't in a mushroom biome). Try to find the center of the chunk by using a slime spawner if you have one (slime spawners will work in mushroom biomes). The easiest slime farm is a large room with water running to the center. The slime spawners are also in the center a few blocks above the water. In the center make a hole that is 2 blocks deep and at least 2 by 2. Put hoppers linked up to chests as the floor of the hole. You can either fill the hole with water (making the slimes drown) or put iron golems. Hope this helped anyone who needed help with slime chunks.
