i used "gay" in the context of homosexuality which i was then notified by the staff not to do that which i understand but i then proceeded to ask what if i use gay to show emotion for example "im felling gay today" they said thats unacceptable then proceeded to mute me for 15 min i understand i need a screen shot but i cant find them on my computer i would be happy if i could use higher level of vocabulary and not be muted for it
I understand, and I know for a fact there is a number of different words that can be used for emotions. but using the words like "gay" can be taken in different ways and can be offensive to others. So it is best to stray away from words that can cause people to be offended or upset. Feel free to use a "higher level" of vocabulary'; but please do so without causing offence.
