It has always been that dragon eggs are worth 5000.00 island levels each (Up to two dragon eggs only.) But after spending most of my money on dragon eggs from the donor zone, I have seen that they are only worth 5.00 island level. I'm really mad because I assumed it would be the same as previous resets and that the 100K I spent wouldn't go to waste, but it has and now I'm left with only 15K.
Dragon eggs are only worth 5 now because 5000 was too much for a single island. The only way you would be able to get dragon eggs before the reset was the through crates, or donor shop. Meaning new players had a hard time getting even one because of their value. Also they were truly too overpowered and needed an nerf.
What I'm getting at is that no one knew of this until they wasted their money, and the reason they were so op is because of their rareness
Bob had said after the reset that he was going to nerf dragon eggs to be 5 island level and other people have dragon eggs on their island.
I mean honestly dragon eggs are wicked OP in general. Someone could have a beginners level 10 island and then suddenly get a dragon egg and be 510. Someone could get to us top just by having a lot of eggs on their IS and suddenly the is top competition would become all about dragon eggs. This way you're actually forced to build on your island for size.
It always has been that, people have over 10K island power without the need for dragon eggs. I assumed the value would be the same as every other reset and if it was to be changed it would be included in the server reset forum post. I have wasted all my money on it now. That is why I am so mad, I don't care that they're worth 5.00 island power, its that I had no idea.
